Raptors Storm Past Trojans in 13-0 Shutout
Rockville, MD - The Raptors returned to Alcus Field on Tuesday afternoon and delivered a statement performance, dominating Allegany College of Maryland in a 13-0 shutout.
From kickoff, Montgomery College controlled every phase of the match — overwhelming the Trojans with relentless pressure, clinical finishing, and solid team defense.
The offensive explosion was led by Marcelo Martinez-Herrero, who recorded a hat trick and an assist. Oscar Alvarado-Celis added 2 goals, while Jet Ryen-Read and Yanis Abaiche also contributed 2 goals apiece.
Illian Afonso made a strong impact in limited minutes, scoring once and adding an assist, while Cheick-Sidi Sow and Joshua Doffoh each found the net as well.
In total, eight different players scored for the Raptors, showing impressive depth and ball movement. Defensively, the Raptors were rock-solid, holding Allegany scoreless and without a shot on target — a complete team effort from back to front.
