Raptors Erupt in Second Half for 5-0 Win Over Hagerstown CC

The Montgomery College men's soccer team opened Region 20 play in dominant fashion on Wednesday, rolling to a 5-0 road win over Hagerstown Community College.

After a scoreless first half marked by strong defense on both sides, Montgomery College exploded for five second-half goals in their Region 20 opener, and several standout performances paved the way for the 5–0 rout of Hagerstown CC.

• Oscar Alvarado-Celis led the charge with 1 goal and 2 assists in just 35 minutes of play — a dynamic display of both scoring and playmaking.

• Ewen Nedellec delivered a clinical performance, registering 1 goal and 1 assist in 51 minutes, playing a key role in MC's second-half surge.

• Andres Rojas-Pradilla added a goal in the 87th minute and was a consistent offensive presence throughout his 55 minutes on the field.

• Miguel Graneda-Penalva scored the second goal of the match and logged 90 solid minutes, helping control the tempo from the midfield.

• Joshua Doffoh opened the scoring and finished with 1 goal in just 43 minutes, applying pressure early in the second half.

• Michael Osorio and Jet Ryen-Read also stood out in limited minutes, each contributing 1 shot on goal.

   

With the win, the Raptors improve to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in Region 20 play. They'll look to carry that momentum into Saturday's matchup in Bryn Mawr, PA, where they'll face a major early-season test against #10 nationally ranked Harcum College.
