MC Tip-Off: Raptors Go Undefeated

The men's team finished the tournament going 2-0, and did not trail at any point during the 80 minutes of game time.
On Saturday, the Raptors beat Paul D Camp Community College 113-72. The Raptors started strong with a quick layup by Chris Levy, and extended that into a 18-5 run. Paul D Camp would attempt to go on a few runs, but the score never got closer than 10 points. Isaiah Gill led the Raptors with 17 points. Thomas Loughry contributed 14 points while shooting 57% from three. Thomas said he was "very excited to play at home" and thanked his teammates for "always making the extra pass and getting everyone open looks."
On Sunday, the Raptors beat the Union Owls 88-61. The Raptors started the game in a much closer battle, only being up 11-8 five minutes in. However, the Raptors went into halftime up 43-21 behind some great defense and 10 points from Ibrahim Abdulmateen, who finished the game with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Ibrahim noted that it was a "solid team win", but "we could've been better in the second half."
