Raptors Win Thriller in OT, Advance to Region 20 Semifinals
Columbia, MD - The Montgomery College men's basketball team delivered a clutch postseason performance, defeating Howard Community College 95–93 in overtime in the Region 20 Division II Quarterfinals. In a tightly contested matchup played at Howard Community College, the Raptors battled through momentum swings and forced overtime before making key plays late to secure the dramatic victory.

First Half: Montgomery and Howard traded runs throughout the opening period, with the Raptors taking a narrow 42–39 lead into halftime behind balanced scoring and strong interior play.

Second Half: Howard responded after the break, edging the Raptors 43–40 in the half to send the game into overtime tied at 82–82.

Overtime: Montgomery stayed composed in the extra period, outscoring Howard 13–11 and making critical free throws down the stretch to seal the 95–93 postseason win.
