MC Tops Garrett in High-Scoring Battle
Rockville, MD - Montgomery College remained unbeaten in conference play, moving to 6–2 overall and 3–0 MD JUCO, after a high-scoring 98–89 win over Garrett College at the Rockville Campus.
The Raptors used a massive 56-point second half to flip a halftime deficit and secure their third straight victory.

1st Half — Garrett 47, MC 42
Both teams came out firing, combining for nearly 90 first-half points. Garrett's efficiency (50% from the field) and second-chance scoring helped the Lakers build a narrow five-point lead. Despite the deficit, MC kept pace behind hot shooting from its starting backcourt.
2nd Half — MC 56, Garrett 42
Montgomery took control after the break, pushing the pace and attacking both inside and out. The Raptors' defense tightened, creating transition opportunities and forcing Garrett into 29 turnovers for the game.
