Rockville, MD — The Montgomery College men's basketball team opened its 2025 home schedule with authority, securing two convincing victories at the Tip-Off Tournament on the Rockville campus. Facing high-level NJCAA Division II opponents, the Raptors found their rhythm early and carried that momentum throughout the weekend, picking up their first two wins of the season and improving their record as the campaign gains steam.
Saturday Recap – MC 90, Paul D. Camp CC 76
Montgomery College jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, using a 52–30 halftime advantage to control the game from start to finish. The Raptors' offense was firing on all cylinders, combining inside scoring, perimeter shooting, and fast-break points to keep Paul D. Camp on their heels.
MC's defense pressured the ball all game, forcing turnovers and limiting second-chance opportunities, while the Raptors' depth allowed them to maintain a high pace throughout.
