The MC Men's Basketball team starts the season 1-1 after they played in the Sullivan County Community College tournament over the weekend.
The Raptors got off to a slow start as they trailed 42-20 at halftime to Sullivan County Community College, the Raptors were able to pick it up in the second half scoring 30 points but were not able to slow the Sullivan County attack to fall 80-50.
Romario Pierre led the Raptors with 14 points and 5 rebounds in 30 minutes played. Marlon Pratt chipped in with 8 points, 4 steals and 3 rebounds, while Sanu Basu had 6 points and 2 steals off the bench.
Leading by 12 points at the half, Montgomery College was outscored 51-49 in the second half to hold off Monroe Community College, 82-72. Romario Pierre lead the Raptors with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Cameron Ashby had 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Marlon Pratt chipped in with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
