The Montgomery College Raptors baseball team opened the weekend on the road against Camp Community College, earning a hard-fought win in the opener, dropping the middle game, and responding with a dominant performance in the finale to take the series.
Game 1: Raptors 3, Camp 1
Montgomery set the tone early Saturday with strong pitching and timely hitting to secure a 3–1 victory.
After three scoreless innings, the Raptors broke through in the fourth when Jackson Freeman delivered an RBI single to put Montgomery on the board. The offense added insurance runs in the fifth and seventh innings to create separation.
Freeman led the offense with a 2-for-3 performance, while Diego Llanes added an RBI hit. Zachary Pyles and Jay Adams each scored a run as the Raptors totaled six hits and played clean defense.

Montgomery showed fight offensively, scoring in the fourth, fifth, and seventh innings. Jackson Freeman drove in a run, while Hayden Hair and Erick Machado added RBIs. Eromosele Okojie and Zachary Pyles each scored as the Raptors collected five hits.
Despite battling throughout, a big fifth inning by Camp created separation the Raptors couldn't overcome.

Montgomery responded in emphatic fashion in the finale, erupting for 12 runs on 12 hits to secure the series win.
The Raptors scored early and often, plating runs in six of seven innings. A three-run seventh inning put the finishing touches on a dominant performance.
Zachary Pyles powered the offense with five RBIs on two hits. Mickey Anderson went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored, while Hayden Hair collected three hits and drove in two runs. Diego Llanes added two hits and scored twice as part of the balanced attack.
