Raptors Break It Open Late at Capital One Park
The Montgomery College baseball team used a huge ninth inning to pull away for a 9–3 win over Marymount University JV on April 6 at Capital One Park. Locked in a tight game through six innings, the Raptors broke through with two runs in the seventh before erupting for seven runs in the ninth to seal the victory. Montgomery totaled 11 hits with multiple extra-base hits, including triples from Mickey Anderson, Jackson Freeman, and Eromosele Okojie, while Okojie also added a home run.

Kai Freeman also contributed with 2 RBI, while the Raptors showcased aggressive baserunning with multiple stolen bases. On the mound, Montgomery used a balanced staff effort, with Zachary Pyles earning the win in relief as the Raptors held Marymount to just three runs.
