Frederick, MD - The Montgomery College baseball team faced a tough road test this past Saturday, falling in both games of a doubleheader against Frederick Community College.
Game 1: Frederick 10, Raptors 0
The Raptors struggled to generate offense in the opener, managing just one hit in the shutout loss. Frederick jumped out early with three runs in the first and added five more in the third to take control. Despite solid effort on the mound late, the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

Game 2: Frederick 2, Raptors 1
The Raptors bounced back with a much stronger performance in Game 2, but came up just short in a tightly contested 2–1 loss. Montgomery broke through in the third inning on an RBI from Jackson Freeman, while the pitching staff kept Frederick scoreless through five innings. The Cougars scored late in the sixth and seventh to edge out the win.
