The Raptors got off to a rocky start but continued to fight back throughout the day. MC's only run in the first game came in the top of the first frame from a failed pickoff attempt in which Phaly Moravek was able to score from first base.
In the second game of the doubleheader, the Raptors had a tough time getting their defense together to get themselves out of the first inning. Montgomery's Ty Morris allowed 11 earned runs on nine hits before he was relieved by Gabriel Sjostrom, who pitched five and one-third innings to only allowed two earned runs on six hits with five strikeouts. Sean Clark hit a double and scored a run, Daniel Weeden hit a home run and tallied two RBIs, and Jaden Minnick added another hit to drive in a run for the Raptors.
