Montgomery College continues to honor the legacy of Tom Bichy, Montgomery College's longtime men's soccer coach & Hall of Famer; the athletic department is hosting the 5th Annual Tom Bichy Memorial Soccer Tournament Sept. 7-9 at the MD SoccerPlex. There is no charge for admission. All Montgomery College home soccer games will be held at the Maryland SoccerPlex. The field number will be announced a couple of days before game day.

The Raptors will kick off the tournament against Allegany College of MD (from Cumberland, MD) on Friday, September 7th at 4:00 p.m.
On Saturday, September 8th Mount San Antonio College (from Walnut, CA) will play the defending NJCAA DIII National Champions Genesee Community College (out of Batavia, NY) at 4:00 p.m.
On Sunday, September 9th, Prince George's Community College (from Largo, MD) will take on Genesee Community College at 12:00 p.m. followed by Montgomery College verse Mount San Antonio College at 3:00 p.m.
Tom Bichy started the soccer program at MC and was the Head Coach for 37 years. When he retired in 2005, he held the record for most wins by an NJCAA Soccer coach - with 471 victories. During his years at MC, Bichy was also a professor in the physical education department and the Rockville Campus athletic director for 24 years.
