Raptors Women's Soccer Outscore Opponents in Last Three Games
The MC women's soccer team played MDJUCO opponents CCBC Catonsville on Friday, October 16. It was test of defense for both teams for the first 25 minutes of the game. Raptors freshman Alejandra Ramos scored unassisted in the 26th minute.

Raptors freshman Alejandra Ramos scored unassisted in the 26th minute. Leslie Rivera scored 90 seconds later to give the Raptors a 2-0 lead going into halftime. Ramos linked up with Robin Hodgson twice for goals in the 72nd and 77th minutes, followed by Rashida Wurie to extend the Raptors lead to 5-0. CCBC scored in the final minutes of the game. Raptors won the match 5-1.
On Saturday October 17, the women's soccer team traveled to Philadelphia, PA to play Harcum College. The Raptors Sonia Rada scored the first goal of the game in the 20th minute and the last goal of the game in the 63rd minute. Montgomery's Leslie Rivera and Alejandra Ramos each added a goal to give the Raptors the 4-0 victory over Harcum College.
On Tuesday, October 20, the women's soccer team will play their last home game of the regular season against Frederick CC at 4 p.m. on the lower field on the Rockville Campus. Please join us before the game as we recognize the sophomore student athletes on the team for their two-year contribution to the program and to the Montgomery College Athletic Department.
