MC Women’s Basketball Welcomes Three New Recruits for 2026–2027 Season
Rockville, MD - The Montgomery College women's basketball program is excited to announce the addition of three incoming student-athletes—Samiah Head, Ruby Mosley, and Jazmyne Jordan—who will join the Raptors for the 2026–2027 season. Each brings a strong record of achievement, leadership, and competitive experience that will further strengthen the program.
Samiah Head | Edgewood High School (MD)
Head joins Montgomery College following a decorated high school career at Edgewood High School. She is a regional champion and a state semifinalist, while earning 2025–26 Second Team All-UCBAC honors and 2024–25 All-UCBAC Honorable Mention recognition. A four-year varsity player, Head was also nominated for The Aegis High School Girls Player of the Week, highlighting her impact on the court.
Ruby Mosley | Sterling High School (TX)
Mosley arrives from Sterling High School in Texas, where she served as team captain during the 2026 season. She was named Team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year, in addition to earning Second Team All-District honors. Mosley also received All-Tournament Team recognition at the Ganders Tournament, showcasing her ability to perform at a high level in competitive settings.
Jazmyne Jordan | Edgewood High School (MD)
Jordan brings both athletic and academic excellence to the Raptors. A varsity captain at Edgewood High School, she is a two-time regional champion and state semifinalist. Jordan was named to the Maryland All-State Academic Team and earned 2025 UCBAC All-Division Honorable Mention honors for her performance on the court.
