Raptors Blow Past Titans. Extend Win-Streak to 8
Rockville, MD – The Raptors have been red hot over the past month, and Wednesday saw more of the same. The Raptors easily picked apart the Titans, winning 103-43. The team improves to 17-6 on the year and currently sit in second place within the conference.
The game was in complete control from the start, and the Raptors put on a scoring clinic. Each quarter ended with a double-digit lead, and the full roster was on display throughout the evening.
#2 Kourtney Johnson led the team in scoring with 23 points while also contributing 9 rebounds and 3 assists. #10 Isabela Lujan-Gonzales was close behind with 21 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals. She also brought in 9 points via 3-pointers, knocking down 3-4 attempts. #20 Athina Nkangnia shined throughout the night and picked up a double-double (15 points/10 rebounds).
The team will not return to the court again until February 24th at 2:00 PM, when they host a huge conference matchup vs #1 seed CCBC-Essex Knights.
