The MC Raptors Women's Basketball team moves to 1-1 after they bounced back from their season opener to defeat Monroe CC yesterday evening for a non-conference matchup.
With the 38-26 lead at halftime, the Raptors continued to rally through the second half to defeat Monroe CC 86-52.
Kaleah Boykin led the scoring with 19 points, four assists, and three rebounds, while Pryncess Lawson had 18 points and 17 boards. Tiyanna James chipped in with 17 points and three steals, and Mackenzie Magaha came off the bench to record 16 points and 4 rebounds.
Raptors women's basketball hosts Del Tech Community College on Saturday, November 13 at 3 pm.
