With the win, the Raptors will head into the MDJUCO Tournament as the #3 seed where they will face Chesapeake College on Thursday, February 15th at 12:00 p.m. at Prince George’s Community College.

The Montgomery College women's basketball team won their last two games by an average of 35 points. On Friday, January 12th the Raptors traveled to Baltimore to defeat CCBC Catonsville by 42 points and hosted Westmoreland County Community College on Martin Luther King Day and won 93-65.

After a tough defeat to Monroe College 80-69 in the Championship Game of the MC Holiday Tournament, the Raptors women’s basketball team rebounds to end the 2017 calendar year on a winning note defeating Prince George’s Community College (5-6, 2-2) 81-58 on Wednesday, December 20th. Armonie Lomax recorded a game-high 24 points, and Anu Bamijoko had a double-double with 12 points and 19 rebounds. The bench combined for 25 points with 13 points coming from Kayla Jackson and Alandra Bandy added the other 12 points in the 23-point victory.

The Raptors women's basketball team enters the MC Holiday Tournament Ranked fifth in the Nation with a 9-3 record overall and 2-1 in the conference. Wednesday after Thanksgiving Break the Raptors defeated Potomac State College 68-57 as Montgomery had a prolific second quarter outscoring the Catamount 25-10. Lauren Nelson led MC in scoring with 16 points and Caleema Johnson recorded a double double with 12 points and 15 rebounds.

The Raptors women’s basketball team improved their record to 3-2 on the season after MC hosted its Tip-Off Tournament this past weekend as the team picked up two wins against Morton College Panthers (IL) 100-35 and Northern Virginia Nighthawks 90-64.
