Benavides Qualifies for Nationals

Montgomery College Athletics is proud to announce that MC Raptors sophomore standout Isaac Benavides has officially qualified for the 2026 NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championship following a highly successful hammer throw season.

Benavides has continued to build momentum throughout the 2026 campaign, delivering standout performances in the hammer throw and establishing himself as one of the top competitors in the region. His qualification for the national championship reflects his hard work, consistency, and dedication throughout the season.

The championship meet will take place at Ross Black Field of Champions in Hobbs from May 14–16, where Benavides will represent Montgomery College on the national stage against the top junior college track and field athletes in the country.
