MC Raptors Ready to Soar in Region Playoff Tournaments
The postseason has arrived, and the MC Raptors are fired up and ready to make a statement. Three powerhouse programs — men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's volleyball — are set to battle for NJCAA Region 20 championships after incredible regular seasons.
Men's Soccer – #1 Seed, One Win from the Region 20 Title
The top-seeded Raptors men's soccer team (13–5–1 overall, 11–2 in the region) have been a force all season and now stands just one win away from the Region 20 crown. After earning a first-round bye, MC will face the winner of Hagerstown CC vs. Harford CC in the Region 20 Championship on Saturday, November 1, at 3:00 p.m. at Harford Community College.
The Raptors have been relentless all year — now it's time to finish strong and bring home another title.
Women's Soccer – Streaking Into the Semifinals
The Raptors women's soccer team (8–9–2 overall, 8–2–2 in the region) are peaking at the perfect time, heading into postseason play on a five-game winning streak. MC will face Harford Community College in the Region 20 Semifinal on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., hosted at Harford Community College.
A win would send the Raptors to the Region 20 Championship on Saturday, November 1, also at Harford. Expect high energy, grit, and plenty of goals as MC looks to extend their hot streak and make a championship run.
Women's Volleyball – #1 Seed and Undefeated in the Region
The #1-seeded Raptors women's volleyball team (20–4 overall, a perfect 15–0 in the region) continues to dominate and looks to cap off an incredible season with another title run. MC opens Region 20 Tournament play at Cecil College on Saturday, November 1, taking on the winner of the #8 vs. #9 seed. The saturday match starts at 10:00 a.m.
The action continues on Sunday, November 2, with the semifinals at 10:00 a.m. and the championship match at 4:00 p.m., both at Cecil College. With their unbeaten regional record on the line, the Raptors are ready to soar high and bring home the Region 20 trophy.
